Kostovny Electric has been in operation for twenty-nine years under the direction of Thomas L. Kostovny, Sr. who has a total of forty years of experience in the electrical field. Tom worked for fifteen years at the United States Steel Corporation where he served his "Electrician-Wireman" Apprenticeship. In 1986 Tom was appointed to the Advisory Board of Parkway West Technical School and is affiliated with the International Association of Electrical Inspectors. As a result of his expertise and dedication to his craft the Company has successfully completed on the average $750,000.00 in contract work within each year. Barbara Kostovny is the controller. She received an associates degree from Community College of Allegheny County. Kostovny Electric is actively involved in the Pennsylvania State and Federally Approved Company Apprenticeship Program. It is also our intention to add several more people to the program in the following months. We have had 8 apprentices finish the program to become electricians. The Company has the capability to perform all types of electrical work ranging from residential outlets to the design-build of residential high-rise buildings, commercial office space, industrial machine and warehouse wiring. We are familiar with phases of electrical construction including fire and security systems, telephone, cable TV and computer systems. The Kostovny Electric Service Division can service all your electrical needs within 24 hours.. Our aerial lift truck provides us the added capability of handling most site lighting installation and maintenance applications. |
